Created as a group project for the Human-Computer
Interaction design studio class, the Stanford Tunnels
is an interactive exploration into the myth of the
Stanford tunnels. The goal of this project was using
market and observational research, as well as
usability testing, to develop an interesting interactive
experience.
One important design decision we tested for was
whether to make the story's linear introduction
interactive or passive, and whether the narrative
should be text or voice-over. After testing, the best
option turned out to be click-thru text, allowing
the user to proceed at their own speed. |
